Oh My Goodness...It is finally ours to occupy!!!!!

On Wednesday, September 12th, we passed our FINAL inspection for the beach house in Lincoln City, OR!! I am so darned proud of all that Mel has accomplished by himself and of all the people who have helped contribute to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we just need to get the carpet in and get it furnished. Mel did buy the washer and dryer and got them installed, so now I won't have to bring his dirty clothes home every time to wash them.

Last weekend Jared, Tammy, Quintin and I all went to LC to see Mel & help him on the house and have some fun. I had help from Quin planting my plants on ivy hill & in the front and side yards. Jared & Tammy helped us get more blocks down to the back yard & Jared helped Mel build a border around the back water spicket. We got the rest of the blocks put in by the patio and tied them into the steps on the side.

I went with the kids down to the ocean & we played in the "D" River-the same one that Kaeden and Kai played in. Quintin flew his first kite and he did great at not letting it go. He loved chasing the seagulls too.

Here are some pic's from the weekend and of the house things. And as you can tell, my face is doing much better...Still sore, but doesn't look bad. I have lumps in my lips and chin, and my jaws are both sore when I hope my mouth wide (as in yawning etc) I am hoping that will go away soon.
