Tammy was telling me about Quintin copying her when she sings this frog song to him. It was hard to imagine that at 2 1/2 months he would be doing that...but I have a video that I took on my camera, and you can definitely see that is what he is doing. Remind me if you want, and I will show it to you. I can't download it onto this site because it is too big.
I get to see the kids this weekend, so I am sure I will have my hands full of grandsons! Yeah...I can't wait.
Hurray, tomorrow is Friday. I stopped at the Daisy Bucket tonight on my way back in to Hermiston (had to go to my thyroid Dr in Walla Walla for a follow up visit) and I had a nice talk with Cassandra and got some good ideas for some sports pages. I am working on a sb for Jenna and need to get if finished.
Till later...

It has happened...
Quin has officially overtaken Kai in the weight game. They are both sick with colds, so both went to the Dr today. Kai weighed in at 13 lbs 5 oz & Quin weighed in at 14 lbs 8 oz. Kai's Dr put him on a nebulizer to help him breathe. Jen said he seems to be doing ok using it. I could hear him coughing, and that made me sad. They tested him for RSV today, but Jen hasn't heard anything yet. Quintin's Dr said his was a cold, and they think Tammy had allergies, not a cold as she thought. Jared was starting to get sick again last night, and mine is still hanging on. We are sure a sorry group. Mel better stay away at the coast.
I don't have any new pictures to update with, but hope to soon.
Till next time...

I forgot to tell you
If you are able to go & play the video of Kailer, then when you are watching it, if you double click on the video it will make it your whole screen, not just the little screen. you can always just double click on the video again and it will make it small and back to the screen if you want to stop it. I could sit and watch it all day...
Thanks for looking.
Thanks for looking.
Kailers Birth-2 Month video
I don't know if this will work or not, but if you can access this video that Jennifer made of Kailers 1st 2 months of life...it is well worth watching.

Another weekend...

I have this darned cold, and slept until 1:00PM today. I had taken 2 tylenol PM's and some cough syrup. At least I did get some much needed rest. Jared and Tammy went up to Jen and Steven's this weekend, so I am home all alone. Mel is still at the coast. Ronald went down there to help him work on the house. They have been working on the sheetmetal for the duct work. I think they are working on the electrical too.
When I talked to Jen earlier today, her and Tammy were looking at tux's. I have been working on idea's for their invitations. So much to do, but I love it.
Mel and I watched Quintin last Wednesday while Jared and Tammy went to the Olive Garden for a "date" to celebrate their announcement of their wedding. Quintin was an angel. Grandpa held him awhile as I made dinner and then Quintin and I took a bath in Gramma's BIG bathtub. It was like a pool to him. He likes his baths. After that I gave him a bottle and he fell asleep watching American Idol with us. He stayed asleep when his Mom and Dad came to get him, and Tammy said he slept very good all night.
Well, need to get some things done, so will go for now. I will leave you with some pictures of my precious grandsons.

Here are the boy's pictures. I can only do 5 at a time, and I didn't realize that, so some didn't post that I thought were going to.
Anyways...here they are. The one is Kaeden in his Uncle Tony's police vehicle when they went to Spokane last week. Jen said he really enjoyed that.
Then there is Kai and Quin in their matching pants...Quin is really catching up to Kai, shorter, but weighs almost as much. Check out that double chin & cute smile. I love Kai's dark beautiful eyes & look of awe...and my little man Kaeden is so cute! He sang to me today on the phone "The closer you get" by Alabama. Jen said he was copying Randy Owen on the video of the song...doing the jumps and running his hands through his hair. I can't wait for him to show it to me in person when I go up there.
Bye again.
Hurray...There is going to be a wedding

Jared asked Tammy to marry him...and she said yes. They have set the date as June 17, 2006. They went up yesterday to the Tri-Cities and picked out their rings. Tammy has to get hers resized, but Jared brought his home.
Now they have some planning to get done. I know that they have asked Jen, Steven, Matt & Jake to all be in the wedding. I am not sure who else Tammy is going to have for her. Her sister-in-law has been sending her lots of pictures of dresses to my email for Tammy to look at.
I am going to watch Quintin next Wednesday so they can go out and have "a date" and celebrate.
Jen & I talked today, and Kaeden's right thumb is doing something strange. He can't do a "thumbs up" with it. It won't go that way, but he hadn't had troubles with it before. He told her it is his "broken thumb" and that he did it playing a power rangers game. She took him to urgent care and they put a splint on it. He has an appt with his pediatrician on Tuesday to check it further. The x-rays that they took didn't show a break in it, but they said there is definately something going on with it that isn't right.
Kailer seems to be doing better, thank goodness. I am going to Jen's on March 11th to see them and the boys. I can't hardly wait. The boys are growing so fast, and I just don't get to see them often enough. I am so thankful that Jen sends me lots of pictures of them.
Here are some updated pictures of the boys...Aren't they all precious!
Mel is on his way home from Lincoln City. He is coming home to pick up some things he needs to take back over there to work with. I am not positive when he is going back over there. It is nice to have him coming home. I sure miss him when he's gone, but know he is doing something that we will appreciate and love when it is done. Here are also some pictures from last weekend when Jared and I went over there to help him work on the house.
Bye until next time...

Spending the day with my boys
Today I went over to Jared's and visited with all of the kids and the grand-boys. I had a very productive day. First of all, I finally got Kai's Hershey's candy bar announcements completed. Then I got his quilt made. Jen at first said she didn't want one, as she had so many blankets from Kaeden, but she changed her mind, so I got him one made. I got his name and birth date also embroidered on it tonight. Then I got pictures made for a book that Aunt Pam got Kai for Christmas. We tried them in Quintin's book to make sure they were the right size, and they were.
I also have all of Jen and Tammy's thank you cards done. I love the simplicity of them and how they look.
We made molds of Kai an Quin's feet and hands tonight. I hope they turn out OK. I will post a picture of them on here if they do. They both did excellent while we were doing them. I remember doing Aimee's and Kaeden's when they were little, and they both cried and cried.
I also got Jen's hair cut tonight. She asked me to do it while they were down here.
I made Kaeden some Alabama Cd's, as he likes them. Jenny said they were going to listen to them on the way home tomorrow. We are going to take the boys to the Fun-land park tomorrow, and then to Chuck E Cheese in the Tri-Cities. We are meeting Melissa, Tatum and Triniti there too. I am sure it will be a wild time.
Well, time to close. Here are some pictures from today...Old Navy hat was bought by Grandpa Mel for the boys. I still need to get pictures of Kailer and Quintin with theirs on.

Quintin's bath
I have been busy at work, and have been tired when I get home, so haven't updated this lately. Mel went back to Lincoln City yesterday to work on the house. His brother, Ronald, is going down to help him too. Jared and I are going to go down next weekend to help. I told Mel I hope he has a toilet working for me by the time I get down there!
Tammy brought Quintin over tonight while "Daddy" was teaching Karate. We gave him a bath and watched Survivor. He loves his baths, but is already about to outgrow Gramma's kitchen sink...Thank goodness I have a huge tub for later.
He fell asleep and I rocked him for awhile. We went upstairs and picked out several books that were Jared's when he was a boy. Tammy took them home to read to him. She took him to his first "story time" at the Library yesterday. They read The Cat in the Hat. I am glad that she is getting him into reading, as it is a love of mine.
Jen called yesterday and they took Kailer in for some blood work. She said they took THREE tubes of blood out of my precious baby. I asked her if he had any left in him. She said he was a real trooper and didn't cry at all on the first arm, and when they did his other arm (due to the blood not coming out of the first one) he only cried for about 5 seconds. What a tough little guy I have there.
Kaeden told Jen that it was going to make him cry when they went in there, but he didn't. He is such a thoughtful loving brother. She thinks he didn't cry, since Kailer didn't cry.
Jen, Steven and the boys are coming down this weekend, and I can't wait to see them!!! I don't get to see them enough.
Well, I will close for now. Here is a picture of Mr Quintin during his bath. Hopefully I will have new pictures of all 3 boys after this weekend.

Quintin & Aaron

Jen told me I needed to write more than I had on my last posts. I write in a diary every day, so I now will have to try and keep both of them going. That will be interesting. My sister once told me I have one of the most boring diaries there is. She used to read my diaries when we lived at home, but I can tell you that I have won a lot of bets with her, as to when things happened etc.
Well, this is all for tonight. I will post more later.

Finally a posting
I have had this site for almost a year, but have never posted. I thought it was about time to start. I am not sure what I might put here, or how often, but I will try to keep it updated off and on.
